Hotel location is absolutely great right in the heart of Amsterdam, surrounded on both sides by picturesque canals, only 3-5 min walk to Royal Palace on Dam Square, Red Light district is just around the corner and Main railway station is 10-15 min by foot, while nearest underground station which links directly with airport...

Sofitel Legend is a fabulous hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. We could walk to all the tourist sites. The rooms are very good, in great shape and very well-maintained. Great stay at the hotel. Visited it with my family for my birthday and it was super. Bed was magic and in the breakfast room they were marvellous.
Reception welcomed us with a sparkling wine and a great customer service. 10/10, I absolutely recommend it!...

Our stay at the sofitel was simply incredible! The staff are top notch, very attentive, available and pleasant. Always ready to add that extra touch. The bedding is comfortable, the rooms very spacious and there is very little noise from the street.
I also loved the breakfast buffet, which was very complete with an extra menu, and the staff were very reactive.

Great historical location- great service - loved the location. Enormous history - centuries of use. Service team very friendly and helpful. Right down street from red light distric offering colorful entertainment for a walkabout. Highly recommended!...
