I booked this hotel a couple of days before I was due to arrive and cancelled a booking I had with another 3 star hotel due to the better location for this hotel. I was so disappointed and gutted I didn't stay with the other place. Firstly let me start with the positives. It is a decent location. Not fantastic and not terrible but decent. Location is great other than that it was terrible dirty rooms, dated and full of sink flies was a struggle to sleep and they had messed up my room booking when I arrived. Wouldn't recommend visiting. They removed all my items out the room assuming I had checked out in the morning when hadn't, left my passport in the room! Not with the rest of my belongings...

I give the hotel a 3 star. Location for Amsterdam centre is good and close to shops and restaurants. Over the road is a good coffee shop called abraxas good chill out vibes. You will have to pay EU charge which is about 70 euros. Lift in hotel is fitted for 3 people but very small space. Tv is abit bad with only a few channels that are English, the stairs are very steep and the view we had out the window was not goo...

Had a very nice stay at Nova hotel. Room was very comfortable, spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Fridge and safe in room.
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is available for a fee but we didnt have it. Free coffee available in the reception area.
Location was great for central Amsterdam.
Would recommend staying here if youre visiting Amsterdam, we had a great time...

Rooms are ok and shower was good. Very hard beds, very noisy other people downstairs smoking and room warm so needed to have windows open. Receptionist extremely unfriendly and clearly unwell, coughing and sneezing. Gone-off UHT milk and no teabags in coffee area: receptionist told me to find my own teabags in the breakfast area. Common areas filthy although room clean....
