Hotel is a bit out of town, but perfect to get away from the hustle. Free ferry from Central to NDSM and then onto Pontsteiger made the trip, the only reason we continued our stay.
The room is tiny! Much smaller than the pictures suggest for a deluxe riverview.
It was also very cold, too cold to sleep, I had to layer up on jumpers. The climate control didn't work to well and when on full it was very noisy. I reques...

Me and my girlfriend went for a long weekend at this Hotel so we paid for the hotel with booking.com we got to the hotel and was told that booking.com dont pay them till the next day and we had to pay a other 600 pound and we would need to wait 5-7 days for booking to put the money back in our bank I told them that wasnt good enough and we didnt all have that money lying about to pay twice for the hotel

Absolutely beautiful location and the receptionist was incredible!
We were staying in a delux room on the water front, and unfortunately we were given a room with broken air on. Now this wouldnt be a big deal if the whole room wasnt a window and the sun was shining in for most of the day making it a sweat box.
The curtains were also very disgusting massive marks up them, just looked liked theyd never been cleane...

The hotel is a bit out the way from main centraal, but you can hop on the free boats, which only takes about 20 minutes each way...absolute godsend!
Not much to do nearby the hotel, looks like the area is still being developed...but overall, quite a quiet area, with some nice places to eat/drink. About 40 minute walk to centraal....

The rooms are not as advertised, the one we had was tiny with a curtain that covered most of the room and behind the curtain was a window to the hallway. Theres no natural light so the room is very claustrophobic, depressing room! 4 USB ports but none of them worked. Travelled with friends and all of our rooms were similar. No full length mirror. Location isnt very central....
