Staff make the hotel and this was a 5 star

What a lovely hotel. We were greeted promptly and the staff went out of their way to assist. The breakfasts offered a lot of choice and delicious food. A stand out person in particular was a lady by the name of Ranjeeta - she was so funny and friendly and bent over backwards to help you!

Excellent location in the Central City. Close walking distance to the central train station. Hotel offers free breakfast which was always fresh and well stocked. Hotel staff were very friendly and willing to answer any questions. Check in went smoothly....

The location of this hotel is quite central to the city. There is a grocery store, wine shop, etc right around the corner. Within a few blocks you will find restaurants. The hotel itself we found to be clean, the front desk staff are amazing, very helpful and our room, while basic, had all that we needed. The beds are extremely comfortable. An average European hotel with a friendly front desk staff, small bar and limited breakfast. Room was clean and good view of a canal.
Currently have reservations for December 2024 which we will probably cancel due to schedule changes.

Last Friday, August 16, I stayed at the Hollday Inn express hotel City Hall. It was a very disappointing experience. Before I go to Booking.com or post a negative review, I would like to give you the opportunity to respond and/or come up with compensation.
