The most comfortable bed ever !!! Great location, very chilled hotel. We came for a long weekend. There's no lift so big cases might have an issue with the stairs but hand luggage was a breeze , enough of a walk away that it's not noisy with the city night life ...

The hotel is in the canal area and walkable to everything. Great shops and restaurants close to the hotel. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The staff was helpful. Lots of steep stairs but it has a great view. I would recommend it to my friends....

Lovely little hotel. Im guessing it was probably a house at some stage - the stairs are steep and many but actually adds to the appeal and getting those steps up. Love the mini bar drinks and the free coffee and snacks in reception. Staff were great. They dont have breakfast but do offer a continental served to your door. This is definitely not a four star hotel.
Our booking was made on the basis that we would pay when we got to the hotel. However, a few days before our stay, I received an email saying that payment had been taken. When I queried this and said that this was not the basis on which we had made our booking, I was told that their terms and conditions had changed. We had received no notification of a change in their terms ...

A beautiful hotel with great potential

This hotel has so much potential to be a 5-star establishment! The design is stunning, with gorgeous chandeliers and thoughtfully curated lighting, and the "bones" of the place are excellent. My room was spacious enough for morning yoga, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathtub was a lifesaver after a chilly November day walking around Amsterdam.
