The hotel itself is very close to the train/metro lines but it's not convenient to anything else. If you want to be in the heart of the city, this is not the place but also not terribly far. The room itself was spacious enough but lacked a lot of basic amenities. The kitchen was decently equipped with the basics... a small tube or laundry/dish detergent came. We booked room 51 (or one of the only 2 penthouse rooms at this hotel) 8 months in advance. So, if you are lucky enough to get this room you will be so incredibly happy that your experience in Amsterdam will go so smoothly that you will give thanks forever. When they say boutique, they mean it. Rooms are very tiny. Nothing but a bed and little room besides that. No housekeeping. No frills. No extra towels. Location is fair with river view (if you pay for it). I would suggest to look elsewhere in Amsterdam for better value....

The apartments are well designed and well maintained. The soundproof windows work very well. Even though we are facing the train tracks we could not hear the trains coming and going. The apartment is clean. The small kitchen and living room were great. The bed was comfortable. The location is excellent with most of the tourist sites within a 15 minute walking distance. We stayed in apt 11, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom. It was very spacious, kitchen was well appointed. Very clean and modern. Its a 5 min walk from a great Chinese restaurant, American sports bar, and grocery store. We would for sure stay here again for our next trip. They have a 24hr concierge that was very helpful....
