The views from our room was amazing and very quiet. Surrounded by nature, in the mornings you can see the birds just resting on the water (very soothing view). I love the view, I really enjoyed it. Although, the rooms was not sound proof, I can hear the cleaning staff when they were on the hallway and also the doors open and closes from the rooms next to us. The hotel itself is not that bad, large room, a nice view of the harbour (too bad about the ongoing construction site), and a pretty good breakfast. A bit far from the centre, but there's a direct tram taking you to Central Station in 20 minutes.
Unfortunately, they have the worst service I ever experienced.

This hotel was absolutely terrible, would never stay here again!! The cleanliness was the biggest issue for me, there were bugs in my room and the smell everywhere was absolutely horrific. I can never understand how this hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel, first of all the entrance to get to the hotel was very difficult to find, had to ring reception for them to open up and then still go to the 8th floor just to get to...

recently stayed at the Amadi Panorama Hotel in Amsterdam and had a mixed experience. Here are some pros and cons based on my stay:

Nice room, ammenities dont work.

If the amenities worked this would be a lovely room. Air conditioning doesnt work - it was a sauna. Room wouldnt drop below 28 degrees, and it was only 22 degrees outside! They gave us one small fan to blow the hot air around. Free mini bar, except the fridge doesnt work so its all hot. Pretty disappointing. The place itself feels like youre going through a maze to get to your room....
