Soft–sand beaches, atmospheric bazaars and world–class watersports
Kid-friendly hotels
We’ve lined up some great family hotels in Sharm el Sheikh. The Holiday Village Red Sea is the top dog, dishing up four pools and seven restaurants. Plus, toy-stocked kids’ dens come with some family rooms. Coral Sea Water World is another favourite family hotel. The in-house waterpark is brand new, fully loaded with sky-high slides and a lazy river. As a bonus, all our hotels are All Inclusive, so things like buffet dinners and house drinks are included.
Things to do in Sharm
Snorkelling, windsurfing, glass-bottom boat rides, scuba diving — Sharm serves up loads of watersports. If getting on to open water is more your thing, sign up the family to a dolphin-watching trip or dinner cruise. Are you more of a landlubber? No worries — the Sinai Desert is in Sharm’s backyard. Dune buggies, camels and 4x4 cars zigzag through the mountains and sand dunes here.
