Best time to go to Trelawny
The best time to visit Jamaica starts in February. It’s the coolest month, but that still means temperatures averaging around 26°C. Then it heats up in July and August, topping up to 32°C. Rain-wise, May, June, October and November are traditionally the wettest months. Showers tend to come and go pretty quickly, though. It’s worth noting that hurricane season runs from June to November as well, with August and September being the ‘peak’ months when storms are most likely to hit. Saying that, hurricanes are pretty rare.Just a heads up – the beaches here are sometimes affected by sargassum, a type of seaweed. It’s influenced by things like weather patterns and the currents in the sea. If your hotel’s affected, the staff will do everything they can to clear it.
